Well, it's been days since the last time I wrote or even posted about this Ashi thingy, but I never thought for a moment that if no one, not even Genndy Tartakovsky or the like, will be able to do something to bring Ashi from Samurai Jack Season 5 back to life someday, so that Ashi and Samurai Jack will finally get married and live together in a happily ever after kind of way, and in the way certain fans of Samurai Jack and/or Ashi are expecting, I may someday end up doing something to help bring Ashi back to life myself one of these days!
I may or may not succeed in this so-called "Quest for Ashi", but either way, I must not only respect what Genndy had created with Samurai Jack, but I hope that the Quest for Ashi from Samurai Jack Season 5 to be brought back to life so that she, Ashi, and he, Samurai Jack himself, could finally be married and live together happily ever after would be fulfilled one of these days, and by any means imaginable, whether as a TV special, or an alternative ending bonus extra feature for any upcoming home media release of Samurai Jack Season 5 on DVD, BluRay or any future home media format, or perhaps even more thrilling, some innovative Samurai Jack: Quest for Ashi theme park ride or so at either any of the Universal theme parks (like Universal Studios Hollywood in California, or perhaps even Universal's Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida) or especially any of the Disney theme parks (whether it be EPCOT's Japan World Showcase pavilion at Orlando's Walt Disney World or even Disneyland in Anaheim, California) or maybe any other way, shape or form. Just saying!
Well, any thoughts on a possible so-called "Quest for Ashi" kinda thing?
And Coming VERY Soon TO YOUR PLANET...
Pardon my forward-thinking about the future and my vision for it here, folks, but...just think: One day, if I ever do get to make my 'Planet of the Toons' live action/animated science fiction/fantasy action/adventure film epic -- being in the tradition of Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, James Cameron's AVATAR, as well as Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and being about three explorers from Earth who visit a distant Earth-like planet orbiting twin suns and one moon called Ten'Jad where cartoon characters are living extraterrestrial beings, and while visiting there, join forces with the local toon E.T.'s -- Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck from Looney Tunes, Dexter the Boy Genius from Dexter's Laboratory, and An American Tail's Fievel Mousekewitz himself to protect the latter's older sister Tanya Mousekewitz (or the Fievel Goes West version of her, rather) from the evil forces of the Dark Lord, Mandark Astronomenov of Dexter's Laboratory: Ego Trip infamy, who, according to an ancient prophecy
Right or Wrong, This is MY Vision!
People on the internet usually don't want to try to kill me or even harass me over any one of my movie ideas until usually after they have just paid like twelve bucks for it, but, as far as any online threats of retaliation or harassment goes, ENOUGH is ENOUGH! For I would rather stick to MY vision and especially not listen to the embittered and hellraising internet and social media user communities. (And that especially includes Kiwi Farms and that Anytown Guy, too!) Now, my intention is to craft this Planet of the Toons epic of mine as a bright, feel-good, aspirational and happily-ever-after alternative to the dark, edgy, gritty, bleak and brutal world of Game of Thrones on HBO and/or the like. And the likes of Game of Thrones was what we might have gotten already, but hopefully, if Planet of the Toons ever were to be a Roger Rabbit/Space Jam-styled live action/animated sci fi fantasy film epic, then this will be what we are going to get next. In my epic work in progress, real
It was 2 years ago today...
It was 2 years ago today, on January 4th, 2022, that I first began thinking about working on this live action/animated film science fiction and fantasy epic called "Planet of the Toons." And 2 years later, I am still 160 pages into the story treatment that I'm presently writing for that project at the moment. And I'm still not stopping on that ever since and for years and a few decades on end yet to come until everything about the Planet of the Toons epic is all said and done. Anyway, in addition to Looney Tunes' Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny, two rival Looney Tunes characters who will also serve as the two most outstanding comedy relief characters in my Planet of the Toons epic work (and similar to Timon the Meerkat and Pumbaa the Warthog in Disney's The Lion King from 1994, too!)… As well as Genndy Tartakovsky's Dexter's Laboratory's short humanlike cartoon boy scientist Dexter, who will stand up for An American Tail's Fievel and Tanya Mousekewitz, especially with the support of
I began Planet of the Toons nearly 2 years ago...
Regarding my current dream project, "Planet of the Toons", which is also going to be an actual Who Framed Roger Rabbit/Space Jam-styled live action/animation hybrid film project, and which is about three human space travelers, including a young high school character animation art student from Earth, who travels to and visits a distant Earth-like alien planet which happens to be the high school animation art student's fantasy world made real (but which he thought up for a student film project) and join forces with some of the animated characters (which said student happen to draw fan art of back on Earth), including a rascally cartoon rabbit (Bugs Bunny of Looney Tunes fame), a greedy, cowardly, crazy, darn fooled cartoon duck (Daffy Duck, also from Looney Tunes), a heroic cartoon boy scientist (Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory) and most of all, a cute and heroic cartoon mouse being (An American Tail's Fievel Mousekewitz), the latter of whom is on a quest of his own...namely to
